Dr. Paul Austin is a graduate of Harvard University, where he received both his dental degree and his Master's in Public Health. He went on to UCLA for his post-doctorate studies and received his specialty training in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Austin has been a member of the clinical faculty and a lecturer for UCLA's Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Austin stays abreast of the latest technological advances in dentistry as an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. 

When he's away from the office, Dr. Austin enjoys surfing, playing two-man beach volleyball, mountain biking, and traveling to such destinations as Namotu, Fiji, El Salvador, Hawaii, and Mexico. An avid historian and member of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Dr. Austin's favorite destination is Florence, Italy, for its collection of museums, history, food and wine. Dr. Austin is a member of the Pacific Palisades chapter of the Sons of the American Legion, which  help raise money and supplies for care packages for our military personnel. Dr. Austin enjoys raising money  for medical needs around the world, and particpated on a 10-day medical mission to Sierre Leone, Africa with Lighthouse Medical Missions in 2010.
